Picture watching a herd of elephants come down to drink at sunrise, and painting that same morning into your sketchbook a few hours later.
Eight days in one of the most extraordinary places on earth, with a pen, a little colour, and absolutely nothing to prove.
Closer to the wild than you've ever been
Mornings belong to the bush. Elephants, giraffes, a lion somewhere in the long grass. Nothing on a screen has ever come close, and you'll feel that in your chest.
Three unhurried hours a day, with me
Sketching together in the morning or the afternoon, whenever the day feels right. Relaxed, flexible, no rushing and nothing to prove.
Your memories, kept on the page
What you watched at sunrise becomes what you paint that afternoon. Years from now you'll open that sketchbook and feel all of it again.
Evenings around the fire
We share what we made, laugh at the wonky lines, and wonder aloud what tomorrow might bring. This is not a week you get to have very often.

A few calm hours for yourself
We settle in
Tea or coffee, a warm welcome, and everything already set out for you. No supplies to buy, nothing to prepare - I bring all the materials. You just arrive as you are.
We learn the simple way
I'll walk you through the few ink-and-wash techniques that make sketching feel easy instead of stressful. We go slowly. We laugh at the wobbly lines. There is no wrong way to do this.
You make something yours
Together we paint one beautiful project from blank page to finished piece - something you'll actually want to keep, frame, or send to someone you love.
Small intimate group
We make a beautiful mess - just like we used to as kids, before someone told us we were doing it wrong. Just colour, play, and a small circle of people who carry the same quiet need to create.
