Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2025

These terms apply to all services offered by TulipART Designs, operated by Gabriela Zamfirov, based in Schiedam, the Netherlands (KVK: 85766925). By booking a workshop, subscribing to the membership or SketchMail Post, or downloading any of my free resources, you agree to these terms.

1. About TulipART Designs

TulipART Designs offers in-person art workshops, an online membership (hosted on Patreon), a monthly postal subscription called SketchMail Post, online courses, and free downloadable resources. All services are provided in English and are open to participants worldwide unless otherwise stated.

2. Bookings & Payment

In-person workshops are booked and paid for via Hipsy. Your spot is confirmed once payment is received. Prices include all materials unless stated otherwise.

Public workshops listed on Hipsy will only take place when a minimum of 8 participants have signed up. If this minimum is not reached, the workshop will be cancelled and all participants will receive a full refund.

Online membership & SketchMail Post are subscription services hosted on Patreon. Payment is processed monthly by Patreon in accordance with their own terms. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Patreon account.

All prices are listed in the currency shown on the relevant booking or subscription page. TulipART Designs reserves the right to update prices; existing subscriptions will be notified in advance of any change.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

In-person workshops:

  • Cancellations made 7 or more days before the workshop date receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the date are non-refundable.
  • You are always welcome to transfer your spot to a friend at no cost — just let me know.

Online membership & SketchMail Post: these are month-to-month subscriptions. You can cancel anytime and will not be charged for the following month. No partial refunds are given for the current billing period.

Free resources & digital downloads are non-refundable once delivered or accessed.

If TulipART Designs cancels a workshop due to insufficient bookings or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date.

4. SketchMail Post — postal subscription

SketchMail Post envelopes are sent worldwide by stamped post. There is no tracking. TulipART Designs is not responsible for loss or delays caused by postal services.

To receive that month's envelope, you must be subscribed before the 5th of the month. Envelopes are sent on the 10th. Contents may vary slightly from what is shown on the website.

5. Online membership — access & use

Your membership gives you personal access to the content available in your tier on Patreon. You may not share your login, redistribute content, or use it for commercial purposes. Recordings of live sessions are available to members for as long as your subscription is active.

TulipART Designs reserves the right to adjust, update, or replace content within the membership at any time. The overall value and spirit of each tier will always be maintained.

6. Intellectual property

All content created by TulipART Designs — including course videos, templates, illustrations, written materials, and designs — remains the intellectual property of Gabriela Zamfirov. You may use materials for your own personal, non-commercial creative practice only.

You may not reproduce, resell, redistribute, or teach from TulipART content without prior written permission. Artwork you create during workshops and courses is entirely yours to keep, share, and enjoy.

7. Behaviour at workshops

TulipART workshops are warm, welcoming spaces. Everyone is expected to treat fellow participants and the venue with respect. TulipART Designs reserves the right to ask anyone whose behaviour disrupts the experience of others to leave, without refund.

8. Liability

TulipART Designs takes every care to deliver high-quality experiences and content. However, we cannot guarantee specific results from attending workshops or courses — creative progress depends on your own practice and effort.

TulipART Designs is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages. Our liability is in all cases limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service. We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings at workshop venues.

9. Force majeure

If a workshop or service cannot go ahead due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including illness, venue issues, extreme weather, or other unforeseen events — TulipART Designs will offer a reschedule or full refund as appropriate.

10. Privacy

Your personal data is handled with care and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

TulipART Designs may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date above.

12. Contact & complaints

If you have a question or complaint, please get in touch at hello@tulip.art. I always aim to respond within 3 working days and to find a fair solution.

Dutch law applies to these terms. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
